DIY project-net inspiration board

Create an inspiration board out of net www.apairandasparediy.com
You need:
  • A decorative fishing net
  • two dowels (or broom handles)
  • some extra string
  • a coil of coloured rope

How to:
1. Start by unravelling your net and threading the top through one of the dowels.

2. Thread it all the way on making sure not to miss any loops.

3. Do that for the other end so you have the top and bottom attached to the dowel.

4. Now, because naturally the net will slide inwards due to the slack within it, you want to use some string to make it taught between the dowels. To do this you want to cut two pieces of string that are roughly 1.5 x the length of the net. Start by tying the string to the top of the dowel.

5. Thread it all the way through down the side of the net.

6. And then tie it off tight at the bottom, pulling the knot away to tighten the net. When you’ve done this on both side the net should sit taught between the dowels. String it up to the wall by adding some bright coloured cord.

Mind yourself #1 - Headache Cure

So,hello there.
It's Danae.

You obviously don't know it but I'm an extremely nervous and anxious human being.
For that,I find myself to try and calm the freak down several times a...day?
Well no,not no much,no.
Either way I'm a fan of herbs and relaxation things and energies.
So I found this little article slash DIY and I present it to you my little stressed friends!

Diffuser: Do yourself a favor and buy a candle diffuser. You can use it to disperse various remedies or just to freshen the air. In the case of a headache, put ten drops of each essential oil in the top portion, and light a tea light underneath. Allow the candle to burn for 15-30 minutes, letting the sent of the wafting oils calm and refresh your mind.

Bath Bomb: in a light muslin sack, add a scoop of dried chamomile, peppermint, spearmint, and lavender (this version will leave out rosewood, but you can add another version of dried rose if you wish). Close the bag, and drop it into the tub while filling to make an herbal tea soak. You can also add epsom salts and essential oils directly to the water if you wish.

Compress: heat a small pot of water over the stove, and pour the hot water into a bowl with ten drops of each essential oil. Soak a clean wash cloth in the water. Take it out, let it cool slightly, and then lay it over you face. You can repeat this several times, allowing the washcloth to rest across your skin a few minutes each time. Enjoy breathing in the scented steam from the towel, and if you wish, simultaneously massage your temples.
THE HERBS
Chamomile: Known for its calming and soothing properties. Chamomile helps the mind to rest.
Peppermint & Spearmint: Both mint varieties awaken the mind. They are warming as well as cooling, and are curative for swelling and aches.

Rosewood: Rosewood is made from the wood of a rose as opposed to its flower. It is not known for having major curative powers, but the smell is very up-lifting.
Lavender: Lavender emanates peace, and allows the mind to find a place of soothing.

This is a DIY project.

Ok this is a DIY project we found on Free People Blog and I personally thought is just amazing.
I mean you can make scrapbooks, decoratives,I don't know you can do this everywhere and have a custom made paper or gift.
It's amazing what you can do and all this by analog photographs.
Time to buy some film and make art!
